Visit caves, abysses, castles, gardens, discover the local markets, canoe down the river, hiking trips in the forest, clamber, enjoy yourself in the acro-branches (tree climbing) track, fishing or go for a swim in the pool or in a river, it is all possible in two footsteps from the campsite.

The Val de la Marquise is also a privileged place for those who are passionate for nature sports, you'll be able to practice climbing on a rock face opposite to the campsite on the cliff of Roc Fayard, a hiking trip by foot, mountain biking, horse riding and fishing.

Opposite the campsite, the Forest of Campagne has a surface of 317 hectares which will charm you with the richness of its fauna and flora.

Two signed discovery paths of 3 km and 6 km have been made for a great walk, both have information signs detailing the natural history of the forest.

Throughout the journey, you can discover caves and medieval habitations.

Every week, during season, we organise a trip to enable you to discover this beautiful area of nature with a forest and naturalist guide.

During the month of September, the wood overflows with dampened undergrowth favorable for the crop of the boletuses and for the ballads while listening to the squall of the deer.

The Valley of the Vezere has 350 km of marked out roads for the benefit of walkers. The valley is charged with history, and the region will reveal all the charms of its landscape. Take the time to experience troglodytic sites nestled in the cliffs, and shelters under rocks are just as much as picturesque and can be discovered on your walk through the paths. In the Dordogne each stone and each road hides a story. The campsite is located only 4 km from the Big Hiking Trip path GR 6 and on 6 km of the GR 36 - 64. Hiking friends, we'll advise you for the 'must-do' itineraries.

Access to the cliff of the Roc Fayard is located opposite the campsite, and is an exciting place for climbers of all levels.

It's a very pleasant and sunny place with a beautiful limestone block which is especially suitable for beginners.

It's a rock which unites 25 beautiful routes from some fifteen meters to 20 meters. The equipment is modern and the initiation sector is ideal for beginners (Level 3-5), however the relays have to be equipped with belts, elsewhere the ways begin at 5c/6a with a rather more verticality.

The wall is equipped with closed pins, the relays are equipped with " Europe " chains or pawls except in the initiation area.

The Perigord is a little place of France not often known by mountainbike enthusiasts and nevertheless it possesses so much charm for everybody : calmness, authenticity, high, variety of landscape and richness of the country. You'll find itineraries within the campsite, as departure points are selected for your level, from beginner to advanced. We'll advise you for the 'must-do' single tracks.
